Lately, we at Cyclonic Consulting have been talking a lot about what it is we want to stand for and who and how we want to help.

I was trying to place this discussion into some sort of framework and finally came up with a kind of philosophy statement. This is how I view the impact we can have on the world and ways we can move the world of Business and Knowledge creation forward.

One Person/One Family/One Job

Every individual needs to be accountable for either creating or developing employment opportunities for themselves. Each of us needs to be able to support ourselves with a job that pays a living wage. If we cannot find a job then we need to be able to create on for ourselves.

Every family needs to be able to create and develop a business that can be passed on to subsequent generations, sustainable over time through innovation, creativity and commitment to the enterprise as a vital part of the family and community.

Every person in our society needs to be a job creator. Every person needs to be accountable for creating just one job, it takes just one job at a time to make a difference. Everyone needs to be a job creator.

You might be asking yourself, how in the world are we supposed to accomplish this?

I say it is all about cultivating curiosity and taking action.

Anyone who is willing to follow their innate curiosity, is willing to be a problem finder, is committed to lifelong learning and is willing to “go down lots of blind alley’s and take advantage of opportunities as you go”, can do it.

You can be a business and knowledge creator by cultivating curiosity.
